John is the Formation Pastor of Lighthouse Church. 

John’s parents taught him from a young age to have relationship with Christ over religion. This lesson instilled in him a heart for Jesus and a heart for people to know the same.

Originally from El Paso, Texas, John grew up as a Pastor’s kid. He then set off to CCU in Lakewood. After graduating in 2018, a friend recommended Lighthouse Church, where he became a member and married his wife Megan.

Before becoming a pastor in 2023, John spent several years developing a corporate marketing career. Eventually came the call to full-time ministry, and now John focuses on spiritual formation and facilitating gospel-centered communities.

He also enjoys over-priced food, board games, and quippy humor.
